Each of our programmes are now Institute Approved and/or registered with Ofqual
The CORP™️ Academy is accessible to organisations and individuals. It offers access to the very best in organisational resilience training and learning resources, and is dedicated to supporting practitioners in their understanding and application of resilience thinking, be that in relation to a formal qualification, certified professional status and institute membership or simply in pursuit of information and knowledge.
The Academy seeks to foster a culture of innovation and originality, alongside a commitment to ensuring the intellectual rigour and applicability of the work it promotes. Offering outstanding value is also incredibly important, particularly given that many practitioners continue to self-fund key aspects of their professional development. Moving our established Level 5 qualification course to a webinar format provided candidates with savings of 70% compared to a traditional classroom-based model.
Flexibility is also a critical component of the CORP™️ approach. The pandemic has accelerated the trend for personalised learning content, but has also created very obvious levels of webinar fatigue - itself a function of the quality of many webinars during 2020. The Academy is responding to this rapidly changing landscape by offering something quite unique - each of our Institute Approved courses can be delivered live, with an expert tutor, at a date and time convenient to you. We believe that learning remains a very personal experience, and however immersive a provider’s LMS might be, it is no substitute for real-time engagement on specific topics flagged by candidates.
As detailed elsewhere within this website, the CORP™️ approach can best be understood by examining the three certified practitioner programmes - the original CORP™️ programme, and also CORP lite™️ and CORP Plus™️. For example, the CORP™️ programme is a unique competency-based programme offering professional recognition for the contribution made by resilience practitioners to organisational success and longevity. The assessment of competency for CORP™️ status is undertaken against clearly defined criteria, consistent with a progressive and strategic interpretation of resilience. The details associated with CORP lite™️ and CORP Plus™️ status are a little different, but each follows the same basic approach to resilience and to its application within an organisational setting.
The foundation each of the programmes is either our Level 5 qualification course, which remains the only such course on Ofqual’s official register of regulated qualifications, or the Institute Approved foundation course, 'RESILIENCE ESSENTIALS'. The timescales for each programme are entirely flexible and candidates are free to enrol at a time which suits them. The total programme fees are less than many 2 or 3 day classroom-based courses, and there are no hidden costs, such as annual subscriptions or repeat assessment fees.
Here at the Academy, we don’t feel the need to ‘reimagine’ our view of resilience, or to ‘transition’ from one approach to another. Whilst some of the big consultancies and research bodies attempt to reposition themselves in order to appear more relevant in the aftermath of the pandemic, the Academy continues to lead the way in applied resilience thinking.
Another perspective on the Academy's approach is offered by Resilience 6™️, a unique set of truths designed to frame the subject for a wider audience.
The Certified Organisational Resilience Practitioner (CORP™️, CORP lite™️ and CORP Plus™️) programmes are supported by the CORP Academy, and provide a genuine development pathway for practitioners and students of resilience.
