Each of our programmes are now Institute Approved and/or registered with Ofqual
The CORP lite™️ programme provides a clear development pathway for those who may be relatively new to the subject. Specifically aimed at celebrating the learning achievements and contribution of entry-level resilience practitioners, the CORP lite™️ programme is also intended for those seeking to make the initial move from a business continuity or emergency response role into something more strategic. The programme offers an excellent introduction to resilience qualifications and a route for those practitioners who wish to follow a career in resilience or strategic risk management and who may ultimately wish to secure full CORP™️ status.
The CORP lite™️ programme should attract those practitioners who wish to benefit from early recognition and also those who are seeking full membership of The Institute of Leadership and Management (MInstLM). The foundation for the programme lies with the Academy's new introductory course - RESILIENCE ESSENTIALS - which is delivered via a short series of webinars. This course has been awarded Institute Approved (IA) status, meaning that successful candidates satisfy the requirements for full membership of the institute, which in turn, offers the post nominals MInstLM. The course is also offered with a FREE copy of The Organizational Resilience Handbook (270 pages), published by Kogan Page.
Details of the latest course dates, etc can be found in the Training and Events tab in the menu bar.
Importantly, and in recognition of where many practitioners are in terms of career, the CORP lite™️ programme provides access to a number of support tools, include CV reviews and help with job interviews, in addition to advice on the use of various resilience and risk management tools and techniques.
The programme is extremely flexible and offers a modular fee structure, meaning that candidates can take the foundation course before making a decision how or when to progress with certified practitioner status. The diagram below shows how CORP lite™️ status feeds into the overall CORP programme.
Candidates are not asked to sit an exam and there are no specific preconditions which could act as a barrier to participation. There is no annual subscription or licensing fee, and there is no expiry date to CORP lite™️ status once achieved. Candidates are free to enrol at a time which is convenient to them.
Once confirmed, certified status allows individuals to display the CORP lite™️ logo and to reference their achievement on personal websites and social media profiles - this, of course, would be in addition to their membership of The Institute of Leadership and Management (MInstLM).
Fees for the IA foundation course 'RESILIENCE ESSENTIALS' begin at only £150.
In addition to the above, fees for the assessment of evidence and the confirmation of CORP lite™️ status are £350.
Total fees for CORP lite™️ status from only £500.
Above fees are exclusive of VAT.
A table of courses is provided below, showing their relevance to CORP status.
[NOTE - Any institute membership fees are paid separately to The Institute of Leadership and Management, and membership may be subject to annual renewal and is subject to the institute's own terms and conditions.]
In addition to accessing the Academy's unique career-support tools, CORP lite™️ status allows practitioners to gain recognition for the contribution they make to debate within the organisation on the subject of risk and for their success in promoting a whole-organisation approach to resilience.
The use of the CORP lite™️ logo and acronym offers a highly effective means of advertising achievements in these subjects to clients and potential employers, and demonstrates a level of real-world engagement which can be difficult when relying on qualifications alone.
