Certified Organisational Resilience Practitioner (CORP)™️.
Available to organisations and individual practitioners, the CORP™️ Academy offers access to the very best in organisational resilience training and learning resources, and is focused on the understanding and application of resilience thinking, be that in relation to a formal qualification, certified professional status or simply in pursuit of information and knowledge.
The Academy continues to lead the way in applied resilience thinking, and has been awarded Institute Approved status for its tailored leadership programmes - a kite-mark of quality from one of the UK’s leading management institutes.
Our work is distributed by award-winning publishers Kogan Page and Emerald, and the Academy's approach is consistent with the principles outlined in Resilience 6™️.
Although the subject of literally hundreds of books and articles, the answer to this question can be summarised quite succinctly - resilience is defined by reference to STRENGTH, COMPETITIVENESS, RESHAPING and GROWTH.
What is also important is that organisations and practitioners are able to differentiate between those approaches and definitions which represent truly strategic and whole-organisation concepts, and those which remain narrow, operational and event-focused.
The Academy's view of resilience is progressive and one which aligns to how Boards and CEOs increasingly engage with the subject. The Academy's perspective on resilience and the language we use also supports the principles and truths outlined in Resilience 6™️.
The CORP™️ programmes are unique in that they recognise the contribution made by practitioners to organisational success and longevity. By focusing on evidence and a commitment to viewing resilience as a strategic capability, CORP™️ status offers meaningful professional certification to candidates from all backgrounds and from all organisational settings.
Candidates are not asked to sit an exam and there are no arbitrary preconditions which could act as a barrier to participation. There is no annual subscription or licensing fee, and there is no expiry date to CORP™️ status once achieved.
There are now three grades of CORP™️ status, from entry-level through to the most senior levels of professional membership. Together, these programmes offer practitioners a unique and unrivalled development pathway in a subject which is attracting significant management attention.
The CORP™️ Academy offers a range of training solutions, the content and delivery of which can be tailored to meet local requirements and conditions. Our content is regularly updated and we have launched 3 new courses in the last quarter of 2020.
Our Level 5 qualification course in organisational resilience remains the only such course on Ofqual's official register of regulated qualifications.
A number of our courses and programmes are accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management, offering access to membership and use of the post nominals MInstLM or FInstLM.
We also deliver individual webinars addressing specific topics associated with resilience, with an emphasis on the post-pandemic environment.
The CORP™️ Academy’s leadership development programmes have been independently verified by one of the UK's leading management institutes.
Programme accreditation offers significant benefits to candidates and provides endorsement of our approach to learning and development and of the material we provide.
In addition to the use of the post nominals (MInstLM or FInstLM), membership of the institute offers access to a vast range of resources and tools, including an award-winning e-learning tool and a community of over 40,000 leaders and managers.
Going forward, the Academy aims to actively support the work of the Institute by offering a number of free webinars on resilience-related topics.
Our association with the ISRM began as the institute was being founded. The ISRM was established in order to create a global centre where practitioners, academics and policy makers can come together to share information, help progress and promote the underlying understanding and capabilities associated with strategic risk and crisis management, and develop their own personal and professional networks.
Since its approval by Ofqual, the ISRM has promoted the CORP™️ Academy’s Level 5 qualification course in Organisational Resilience.
The CORP™️ Academy promotes resilience as being a function of how strategic risk is managed within an organisation, and for this reason alone the close association with the ISRM makes perfect sense.
Understanding client and candidate requirements is critical. Positive feedback indicates just what can be achieved.
